Restorative Response Baltimore is a conflict resolution and community building organization to collectively and effectively prevent and resolve conflicts and incidents in communities. Their services may be free of charge to schools and community associations.

MD Volunteer Lawyer Service

MVLS provides legal representation for free/sliding scale to help residents make sure their deed is correct/updated or to create a life estate deed. There are several important programs that can help homeowner's avoid tax sale and probate or financial assistance to stay in the home; one cannot access these programs without proof of ownership.

My Home, My Deed, My Legacy

A citywide public awareness program to educate Baltimore City residents – especially low-income residents – about the importance of estate planning and the critical need to confirm their name is on the deed to their property. A campaign led by MD Volunteer Lawyer Service.

Civic Works Elder Services

Civic Works’ Elder Services offers practical services and information essential to healthy and successful living. They implement Cities for All Ages a comprehensive fall-prevention program which makes homes safer for older adults living in Baltimore City. Housing Upgrades to Benefit Seniors (HUBS) is a collaborative project that places social workers and case managers based at five sites in Baltimore. They facilitate aging-in-place services for older adults by connecting them to home repair resources that improve the quality of their lives through accessibility improvements, rehabilitation, weatherization, and environmental hazard remediation.
